SIM Card not recognized . . . - finphone - 07-21-2020

Hello everyone, just received my pine phone but it's not recognizing my SIM card.  I'm in the USA, would anyone happen to know if the phone works with MetroPCS SIM cards?  I assumed they did since metro is now t-mobile.  Thanks in advance!

I was told to try Mobian as a mobile OS, you can find it the forum post here,  https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=9850

or their website https://mobian-project.org/

I've used mine on Metro and T-mobile. They both work, being the same backend. Only complaint being you have to call metro to swap your sim, t-mobile you don't of course.

Thank you, appreciate it!  Was originally concerned because the phone had indicated that "no SIM card was installed".  So, thought there may have been a hardware conflict.  I'll shoot metro a call then, thanks again!
