I *love* the logo-free chassis - Phillip Bell - 06-19-2020 Pine, please don't ever change! I know it's tempting to put a logo on the chassis, but I really love it being logo-less! It's nice not seeing or feeling extra crap on the cover or palm-rests. I can add my own designs! Or just leave it without tattoos or marks. Feels more like "my" machine. Very raw. I *love* the logo-free chassis - Samurai_Crow - 06-19-2020 I agree! Can't eat an icecream without seeing producer's logo 3 times... RE: I *love* the logo-free chassis - Syonyk - 06-20-2020 Agree, 100%. The style on the PBP is amazing. There are a few changes I'd love to see (a better trackpad, maybe a board with a couple meg of L3 cache), but the style is amazing, and makes it look like a far more expensive laptop than it really is - in a good way. Normally, the cheap stuff is garish with stickers, but the (easily removed) FCC sticker comes right off, leaving an utterly sleek and minimalist design. I've referred to it as a "futuristic movie laptop" in terms of design, because it looks like something from the future. Until you open it, at which point it's wonderfully repairable! Throw in the lack of fans so it's dead silent (unless you're one of the unlucky ones with coil whine), and... yeah. Absolutely, 100% love the styling and design, keep it up! |
