Hi all,

Had a few issues, booted fine from SD card, then wrote the img using DD to the emmc which was at /dev/mmcblk2

Restarted but no boot, any ideas?

It could be a few things. Hard to tell without serial debug info. 

Your uboot might be compromised, so you might need to reflash uboot to emmc. 

I would try using the manjaro emmc installer image, to make sure emmc is still working.

eMMC is confirmed fine, Retested with a Manjaro eMMC installer.

Have ordered a serial cable to diagnose further
