Missing Screws - missingchip - 06-03-2020

I saw a thread about providing a repair kit for the PBP last year and that seems like a great idea. However, I lost just one screw from the front of my device (under where the trackpad is) and I just need to be able to get a replacement screw. Paying for shipping to America would be ridiculous. Is there any way I could get the spec to purchase a replacement?

Someone in this thread used M2 machine screws:

The ones in front are 3mm long, not 4mm.

https://www.laptopscrews.com/M2x3.htm

https://www.laptopscrews.com/Sizing.htm
"The actual diameter of an M3 screw is usually about 2.9mm, an M2.5 screw is 2.4mm and an M2 is 1.9mm."

About consistent with the diameter I'm reading.

Official product:

$1 + $12 shipping to US.

Looking at the laptopscrews.com page, I'm getting the idea. This was raised with pine64 before, and the reason why they don't just provide "the spec" is, to get exactly the right head diameter, head length, head angle, &c, the spec would be something like "Ningbo Screw Company #2456046464-A, minimum purchase 10,000 units".

Awesome, thanks! I suspected screws might be a pain in the butt to provide info like for.
