Hi Alho - Definitely appreciate you fixing the f35 nightly image build. The 2021-06-24 F35 image boots and works fine on a pinephone. Bonus: Auto-rotation works... :-) RE: Fedora + Phosh for PinePhone - wizmart - 07-09-2021 Tried both latest F34 and F35 but don't get any sound at all..I do like the Pboot solution to boot both emmc or sdcard, makes it much easyer. when being called it does tril..btw Anyone else with this issue? on PP-fedora-setup audio is ok
RE: Fedora + Phosh for PinePhone - Alho - 07-17-2021 It seems we ran into a bunch of weird pipewire updates, that didn't do what it should. Try to make a full dnf update, and after that run: systemctl enable --now --user pipewire-media-session as your normal user. That fixed it for me. RE: Fedora + Phosh for PinePhone - Alho - 07-18-2021 Right, something goofed up the build system 4 days ago - so last 4 images were useless (deleted now). I'll make some new ones to test in a few hours. RE: Fedora + Phosh for PinePhone - Alho - 07-18-2021 Todays image (18/7) is missing a package. Run sudo dnf install alsa-ucm to add it. You may have to do the systemctl... mentioned earlier too - and then a reboot. RE: Fedora + Phosh for PinePhone - wizmart - 07-19-2021 Just flashed 19/7 and it looks like alsa-ucm is already installed so I did a systemctl and after a reboot, Yes!! audio is working now, well done. One thing I'd like to upgrade is Phosh, curently 0.11.0-1 to 0.12 but I don't see it yet in the repos.. https://source.puri.sm/Librem5/phosh was wondering if I could compile it and update the existing one..? The new Phosh update needs glib 2.69 . We are waiting for that to hit the fedora repos, then Phosh will be updated too. RE: Fedora + Phosh for PinePhone - wizmart - 07-26-2021 Hi Alho, I just found a post about Anbox-halium or Waydroid which is an updated Anbox to LineageOS 17.1, been dreaming about it... https://linuxsmartphones.com/waydroid-lets-you-run-android-apps-on-linux-phones-with-smoother-performance-than-anbox/ https://github.com/Anbox-halium/anbox-halium So I tried to build it as mentioned in github but I got stuck at "repo sync" runnig out of space after taking 10g!! I wonder how big is the repo... anyway I free up some space on my 32g sdcard and I'll give soon another try . If you ever decide/manage to build it, could you include it maybe in one of your future build...? or tell me how you did it btw, Phosh got updated to 0.12 finally no more sensor black screen..! Edit: well didn't need to build it, just had to run the script install but when I tried to run Anbox container get the msg binder and ashmem not found.. so which kernel has binder and ashmem on aarch64 remains the question, still looking around..
