i got only 2.0 output sound (

With the latest Android 0428 image, I get the following:
Kodi: Passthrough delivers all 5.1 channels , but has a constant "hiccup" effect to lose signal for a fraction of a second every 1-2 seconds.
SPMC: IEC Passthrough always produces white noise.  PAW Passthrough delivers only 2.1 channels even if I set the "DTS and AC3 capable receiver" options ON.  But at least it plays smoothly.

Please see DTS / Dolby thread here.

I tried playing a video with DTS in Kodi with audio passtrough enabled to a DTS-capable receiver.
It seems to kind of work, but the audio skips/resets the connection every 3 seconds or so.

I am seeing this same thing everything else works really well but dts-hd and dts cuts in and out.

Do we have a fix for this issue yet?

Even I have the same issue. Kodi pass-through enabled DD, DTS and DTS-HD skips every 3 seconds.
Pass-through disabled it has to output LPCM 5.1 but outputs 2.0.

Any update on this?

Any one else experiencing crashing on Android when loading thumbnails? If I browse my movies library in "List" mode then I can usually select any video and play it with no problem. However, if I attempt to browse in any mode that uses thumbnails, the screen blacks out and I have to power cycle the device.

I'm having this same issue, Kodi pass-through enabled DD, DTS and DTS-HD skips every 3 seconds, has anyone had any luck resolving this one yet?

RE: Kodi on Android - wind - 05-11-2016

With Pine64 being a 4-core CPU, has anyone else noticed that Kodi and SPMC report only 3 CPU stats in System -> Info page? I've seen it since my first 0303 image installation, but was patient to wait till the release image and now I still see the same thing. I don't think it's normal because on my Fire TV both Kodi and SPMC report all 4 CPU stats.

i cant even get kodi to play a movie file.  stored on my nas, through addons or locally.  i get a file failed to play. check log error.
thoroughly disappointed in this board.  advertised as android being the "show floor" OS and android doesnt even work right. ethernet is unbearably slow, and keyboard support is horrible.  2 different Logitech keyboards would just drop out.  when, keyboard is working i get about 1.5 second lag between key press and it actually registering

I feel your pain.  For what it's worth, read my comment about switching to a faster SD card: http://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=509&pid=8081#pid8081
