RE: Pinebook Pro structural integerity failing - vfr400racer - 06-19-2020 My palmrest arrived yesterday. Austrian customs didn't charge me (until now). The palmrest comes with no bolts included. But there is a black patch, the same size of the trackpad. What is this supposed to be? Swapping components was pretty easy. I beefed up the area where the hinges are bolted on with some epoxy. Due to the mods to the hinges the lid now operates easily. Still holds the lid in any position. Very happy! RE: Pinebook Pro structural integerity failing - hdk - 07-30-2020 until now very happy with my PBP and its new palm rest. As has been said, the newer ones, (though it's unclear if it's ANSI only, or both ANSI & ISO), have a better plastic.
