I can't get the image with sunxi-disp-tool to boot. RE: HDMI issues - sboyce - 07-10-2016 I have 2 ODROID-C2 SBC's each using 7 inch touchscreens with the Mali driver on Ubuntu ARM64 16.04. Setting 800x480 resolution is as easy as uncommenting it in /boot/boot.ini. On PINEA64+ I haven't found a way to get other than 1920x1080 by adding a line to /boot/uEnv.txt and I don't see a file I can change. Is this hardcoded and why? RE: HDMI issues - kthomsen - 07-11-2016 I'm having this issue with the weird colors. I've tried different HDMI cables, different TV's, Remix OS, Android and Debian. It looks fine, and then all of a sudden it screws up. This is depressing! Everything works fine, so far. Besides this color issue. Hopefully it doesn't happen with the Touch panel I bought with the Pine64. Seems like my "mini computer" will turn into a "mini bulky tablet"... Strangely I am having that same problem on a ODROID-C2 where I booted off a new SD card yesterday, no idea what the cause is. The PINE A64+ is fine on a 7 inch touchscreen, just that stuck with 1920x1080 display, screen can only be read using a magnifier. RE: HDMI issues - JTRiker9 - 12-23-2016 Hello All, I have the 2Gb board with WiFi/BT add-on. Using an Android image I can connect to most monitors. But I trying out a 7" Rasipberry Pi HDMI 1024x600 touch display. When display connected to Laptop HDMI Port display works fine but trying it on Pine board I get on display. Display powered by separate usb connection so I had it connect to a 5v brick. Board powered on and screen back light came on but not display on screen. connected pine to known good hdmi ported monitor and it worked. move cable back to Pi Display and no image. If my Laptop can work with the Pi Display why cant pine64 work with it? RE: HDMI issues - sboyce - 12-24-2016 Seems it was thought that only a large screen would be used when one of the main reasons for quite a few people would be to reduce the real estate taken up. A small SBC tied to a behemoth is limiting. I have 2 ODROID-C2's with 7 inch touch screens, one is used in a standalone HF Amateur bands transceiver and the other one with HDMI sound is on the LAN and used by another HF transceiver. I have 2 other 7 inch touch screens, one I would like to use with the PINE A64+. |
