Now i can't wait to get home from work to try this out RE: Any Progress on the new update for Remix OS? - rahlquist - 04-19-2016 Well I can confirm, for me, this still doesn't give me a device that can use monitor of choice. So back to debian where I can at least remote into it. HDMI needs to become a priority or I am betting Pine is going to have a slew of RMA requests from people who think their boards dont work. Also interesting to note. Where as before all I had to do was hook a serial cable up to the Pine and I had console access on the previous Android or RemixOS build(cant recall which) there is console output now but it will not let me make any input. RE: Any Progress on the new update for Remix OS? - marshmel - 04-19-2016 Well I tried win32imager and phoenixCard to write the image, but when booting I'm afraid nothing, just gets a blank screen. Further testing needed at my end. RE: Any Progress on the new update for Remix OS? - Luke - 04-19-2016 I dont know about everyone else but all I am getting are never-ending upgrades, crashes to black screen with cursor, and static on screen/ flickering. Moreover, it feels much more sluggish than it did previously. Just great ... RE: Any Progress on the new update for Remix OS? - marshmel - 04-19-2016 WaW, I can only dream of some flickering. I get nothing at all on my screen ![]() RE: Any Progress on the new update for Remix OS? - Luke - 04-19-2016 If this is working for someone then please post a 'it works for me' RE: Any Progress on the new update for Remix OS? - tllim - 04-19-2016 (04-19-2016, 08:51 AM)marshmel Wrote: Well I tried win32imager and phoenixCard to write the image, but when booting I'm afraid nothing, just gets a blank screen. This build only work on using Phoenix card, please remember to set write mode to "start up" Any Progress on the new update for Remix OS? - androsch - 04-19-2016 I also just was able to install the Remix on a 16GB card, bootet up fine, could even get ethernet working with cable and fixed ip, but afterwards (trying to use PlayStore or other settings) it just crashed several times with 'process system does not answer, close it?' So seems still not usable for Pine64+ with ethernet only (no wifi). It seems that some first time initialization process still going on.The responsiveness improve after the first 10 minutes.
