yes my friend, I am afraid that you are doing something wrong :
You are connecting to (a non-existent) chat room and not our server.
Let me help you: In hexchat, under network list, press the (+ add) button and give the server a name - e.g. pine64 - and then press edit. In the edit area type in pine64.no-ip.info/6667 (see the attachment)
Then just connect to the server - it will take you directly to the main chat. I suggest you also set the server as a favorite and to autojoin.
