RE: Dual boot options for ROCK64? - a1w.ca - 01-22-2018 @easyfab thanks for catching that! You are correct. I will fix it now. RE: Dual boot options for ROCK64? - Luke - 01-22-2018 awesome and clear write-up a1w.ca. I wonder if it would be possible to have nice syslinux-style GUI for it too. RE: Dual boot options for ROCK64? - a1w.ca - 01-22-2018 I tried options such as "menu resolution 800 600", "menu with 80" etc.. none seem to work. It seems it support the nice formatting options of a typical syslinux config. I meant to say it seems it **doesn't support** the nice formatting options.. but yes you're free to try, hopefully you can figure out something. Thanks! RE: Dual boot options for ROCK64? - Luke - 01-22-2018 Ah! no worries. Bit of a pity, but I will give it a go nonetheless. RE: Dual boot options for ROCK64? - Danielsan - 04-20-2018 Is it possible doing a dual boot from ssd & emmc without switching among them? RE: Dual boot options for ROCK64? - S3phi40T - 05-01-2018 Anyone have update son this? I was trying to add multiboot / test out of the box Ayufan's options but couldn't get menu to appear for me but increased timeout increased booting time so it must be out there ...hidden. I hope you weren't expecting to see it on your monitor, as AFAIK, it's only visible on the serial console, as it should be way too early in the boot process for HDMI and usb keyboard support... When I'm connected to the serial console, I see a menu similar to this one discussed back in post 8: Code: mmc1 is current device And there is more info here about the boot menu - https://github.com/ayufan-rock64/linux-build/blob/master/recipes/dual-booting.md |
