as well, sometimes the paths in extlinux.conf can be wrong, paths are  in relation to itself,
I had that happen only last week from my inherited son's pbp

OP is trying to boot an install SD of TowBoot

yes exactly @tophneal  @wdt I'm trying to install TowBoot from spi, but I get a u-boot prompt (if I interrupt the boot - otherwise it's the never-stopping message/question from the photo above) whichever way the emmc switch is flipped...

Well, the 1st post was about installing post-market or repairing manjaro
from the uboot prompt,,,, mmc scan ,,,, setenv boot_target MMC1,,, printenv boot_target ,,,, boot
