RE: Booting Issues - vlagged - 09-04-2025 I had the screen flickering instead of booting problem. The update was probably done a couple of days ago, max 15. I booted the Pine Note on a plane to see it has become a paperweight And arrived at the destination without reading. What worked for me: 1. Creating a HotSpot with the same name as home network 2. SSH-ing into pinenote 3. Code: sudo dpkg -i /var/cache/apt/archives/mutter-common_47.3-2_all.debThis was _not_ downloaded. Some debugging for the wise, what didn't work: PHP Code: user@pinenote:~$ sudo apt full-upgradeand not even PHP Code: user@pinenote:~$ sudo apt upgrade mutter-common-binThe above errors sound as if mutter should NOT be updated, but it did? Anyway, see my number 3. above, for now.. RE: Booting Issues - PYXY - 12-05-2025 (09-04-2025, 12:52 PM)vlagged Wrote: I had the screen flickering instead of booting problem. Hi vlagged, I'm not as tech savy as the average user on this forum. Could you please guide me on how to follow your steps, especially 1&2? Kind regards |
