RE: mobile data - always in use? - someGermanGuy - 04-03-2020 unfortunately i do not have the image anymore which i flashed, but i am very very sure it was a phosh image. my login is "demo", so maybe i have some wierd demo image with some special settings or so? no idea. RE: mobile data - always in use? - janw - 04-03-2020 I use phosh on debian ATM. And I also see settings > mobile, where I can disable mobile data. That said, the strange thing with phosh is, that even when mobile (APN settings) is not configured right, or after I disabled "mobile data", it still show a "4G" at the status balk. This shows the impression that it is using mobile data while it's not the case. This is confusing. Oh, and because this is a international forum and people don't speak the same language, some things may sound harder than it is meant RE: mobile data - always in use? - bcnaz - 04-03-2020 I have the 4G above also. Top of this settings page has a button labeled Mobile, which seems to be the phone itself. under that is 'Network' with the 'Mobile Data' switch and a 'Data Roaming' switch If I turn off the top 'Mobile' switch I kill all phone function RE: mobile data - always in use? - janw - 04-03-2020 (04-03-2020, 02:06 PM)bcnaz Wrote: If I turn off the top 'Mobile' switch I kill all phone functionYes, you are right. When I switch off 'Mobile' at the top, 4G in the status balk also disappear. |
