Did you not check the odroid link?
Like  I said,, let us know

I have not checked it out yet. Will check it out. I think I might start another post for GRUB on PBP.

Please do a search instead. There is already at least one thread about running GRUB with u-boot on the PBP.

Ok I will. The UI on mobile is not intuitive to use e.g. the search. Maybe that is something which should be worked on while maintaining the website. Nothing much, just add like a search textbox and button on the top of the page for search in the mobile interface.

That is actually something that's already been discussed with the mods and Pine staff. A simple search box has been approved to be added, we're just waiting for the site admin to add it. Until then, the Tapatalk app works pretty well to browse the forums on mobile (better than the normal site.)

RE: eMMC on Pinebook Pro - Arwen - 03-11-2020

In regards to larger sized eMMC devices, Samsung makes a 256GB model;

Note that it won't work as is. The Pinebook Pro uses a carrier board with tiny connector. Schematics & board layout are available on the Wiki.

On the subject why you might want to use a larger eMMC, is power. The existing 128GB model, SanDisk iNAND 7232, runs at 1.35 watts peak. And generally less than half for most things.

I'd be interested in a dual eMMC slot, PCIe card. It can be shorter than NVMe carrier boards, so properly designed, it would not interfer with the trackpad.
