Still *very* tight and took a lot of coaxing. I think people will need a heads-up to expect this when the general-user-version goes out. Mate, you're scaring me. There is a notch, specifically there to place your fingernail into (or a blunt and soft tool). You do not need to create a gap! Sorry, I'm not yelling, I'm just trying to make it obvious that there is a purposely made notch to separate the back cover from the phone. It is a bit rigid, but it's all pretty tough, so shouldn't break by you tugging on it. See this photo, it's on the bottom right of the phone/back cover IMG_20200613_173147~2.jpg (Size: 191.59 KB / Downloads: 371) I hope this clarifies things RE: How to open the phone? - saba - 06-13-2020 (06-12-2020, 09:56 PM)nationalicon Wrote: There is a tool for this sort of thing, called a "spudger". I suggest a vinyl one (not metal). They are typically very inexpensive. You could also use a guitar pick. That might be easy to come across for some people. I have no problem using my thumbnail though. RE: How to open the phone? - bcnaz - 06-13-2020 I use two thumb nails in the notch, then go around the whole phone spreading the gap all the way around. I do have one small crack in mine now because I tried 'gently tugging' after just widening the gap at notch. IF you slide your nail ( in the gap ) around the whole phone it will pull off easily. RE: How to open the phone? - AddieDirects - 06-14-2020 I use a spudger to get the back off mine. Don't want to ruin my nails LOL. |
