its not, its just that they do not remove the protective film at the factory. Its a lovely matte screen.

Second batch already??
We're still waiting for the first batch to leave the factory - been a good week since we were told it was another 2-5 days away.
Good thing I don't chew my fingernails or I'd have no fingers either by now
So, any news of the first batch yet?

That means real soon now I will be getting an email from the courier requiring only an arm and a leg to get it through customs to me

I'm in the US and just received tracking information from DHL. No information on customs / fees yet.

OK, I'll join the chorus....
I'm in the US and no shipping info as of now. Monday is coming to a rapid close in China. Does this mean they won't all make it out today or is there some sort issue with notification?

Hmmm, guessing what we hear is based on the local time in China....Of course, perhaps DHL already has the info and operates on GMT

I will throw in my update here as well. 1st batch customer here in the US as well. So far I have not received a DHL shipment email either. I checked my spam filter as well. All good - no problem waiting but just putting the information out there so someone doesn't think that they are the only one waiting.
