Pinebook is a good piece of HW worth 100 €, but not more and not suitable for everyday work (as everybody knows). Before i could try your upgrade pinebook did it on its own. Told me i was using an outdated ubuntu and ask if i wanted to upgrade. I said yes and now i have bionic and mate desktop. i am missing a desktop vpn service, and i liked tomboy notes it is also gone. so i need to play with this and see what it can do.
