i seem to be having similar issues, im quite sure the adapter is the issue, i used a android 6.0 sd to EMMC image with the pine64 installer and flashed the EMMC with the pine64 LTS, that is the only way i could get my 64GB EMMC to work
, but this is not a good solution for me as that image has no camera driver
