Takes 55 seconds to start and become responsive with my pile of windows, tabs, and plug-ins. Timecop looks like a bloodbath, haha. What OS are you running? Because I use the latest stable 0.6.2 and the performance is horrible. CPU usage is really low (it doesn't even use 15%) but Atom is really slow. 2 second input lag. I'm running: Linux pinebook 3.10.105-bsp-1.2-ayufan-77 #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun Jul 9 12:09:30 UTC 2017 aarch64 aarch64 aarch64 GNU/Linux You mentioned using ExaGear, which is a totally different method (and much slower) RE: Install Atom editor in ubunut mate? - joekinley - 08-27-2017 So no atom, no VS Studio Code (just doesn't work), no sublime... I get a lot of problems working with this thing properly. Even the typing is hard with the space key randomly not registering properly. So what else could I use on it to code? |
