RE: Flashing with RF Connect - ITCactus - 04-28-2022

if you see pinecone, that's great, and that means you have the bootloader, and it's the latest one (1.0.0).

regarding changing InfiniTime version, i didn't catch it.
but in general, if you had e.g. version 1.8, and next installed OTA 1.9, and rebooted device,
the bootloader rolls back InfiniTime from 1.9 to 1.8, unless you clicked "verify" in the "Settings -> Firmware" screen.
it means, if you installed new InfiniTime update, and you are sure it works ok for you, you should verify that by clicking "verify" button.
in that way, during reboot, you stay with the validated version.
but if the new update doesn't work well, it's enough to reboot device (or it could be the device just "hung" and you have to wait for a battery drain), and after that, you should have the previously validated firmware. but there are catches you can read about here.

I did validate 1.9.0, so it should not have rolled back, if I understood your post.
