Stupid question: where is it ? In the image thread I find only the image of 7 may https://www.stdin.xyz/downloads/people/longsleep/pine64-images/ubuntu/ xenial-pine64-bspkernel-20160507-1.img.xz 07-May-2016 20:23 170M RE: in search for the /boot/config-...... file - pelgrim - 05-27-2016 never mind, got it, need to run the update scripts in http://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=293 RE: in search for the /boot/config-...... file - longsleep - 05-27-2016 Yes, i do not release image just because there is a new Kernel as Kernel and U-Boot can be easily updated. RE: in search for the /boot/config-...... file - pelgrim - 05-27-2016 well, longsleep ... A very big thank you for that update. With that kernel module (sound sequencer) I achieved my goal or project: connecting a midi sprout (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/datagarden/midi-sprout-biodata-sonification-device) to pine64, and with the packages aconnect, fluidsynth and rosegarden I'm now able to listen live to midi signals comming from plants and record that midi signal. RE: in search for the /boot/config-...... file - martinayotte - 05-28-2016 Interesting ! RE: in search for the /boot/config-...... file - pelgrim - 05-29-2016 sure thing, just need some time. I'm still kind of learning how to use the sprout and getting advice on their forum, plants apparently need their time to adjust to the sticky probes., and I have 0 experience as a musician. So what you will get is the "raw" output of the plant/sprout: a serie of notes sent through the fluidsynth software, without any kind of fiddling or "production". I like tubelar bells as output, the output is very clear. There is a giant mountain of things I need to learn about music software.
