The latest stable release from Sep 5 works on 3GB phones. I'm currently running the F2FS build from eMMC. On Mobian the Sep 5 release is considered "stable" while the "nightly's" are considered cutting edge or testing. They are listed in the same list on the download page, but certain ones are considered "stable" I do not know if ubports has some that are considered as "stable", they may have some also..? ubports does also do nightly builds like Mobian. I'm taking the stable terminology from Mobian and trying to make clear that you don't need a nightly build to boot on a 3GB phone. AFAIK the ability to boot on 3GB phones is what makes the Sep 5 build the latest stable one. That being said, we need people to use the nightly builds. Thanks for your efforts. To your other point, stable/test builds in UBports are controlled with the options found at System Settings > Updates > Update Settings. I enabled "Release Candidate" to update to OTA-13. At some point, OTA-13 will be promoted to "stable" and be used for the nightly builds. I guess this means that the nightly UBports builds are stable builds, too. |
