On a side note I did pop my sim card into it. I am on Verizon. calls worked both incoming and outgoing. the quality was not so great but my expectations were set appropriately. Should be fun watching things improve.

I haven't gotten the chance to really fiddle with it, but I am experiencing the same.  It looks as if the HDMI piece should be fixed soon according to the git link posted earlier.  I'm hoping this also fixes the charge as well.

I have found if I plug power into the dock before plugging it into the phone it will charge. It does not charge if I do it in the reverse order though.

Just installed the Arch Linux/phosh image it into the phone. Easily the best experience yet, especially the Geary email client.
The only issue I have noticed so far is that gnome-software-mobile reports No application Data Found. I reinstalled the package with pacman and still the same issue.

Calls and texts work (Freedom/Shaw Cable in Canada), email works, ssh client works.

Just got it and played with it for a short while. PmOS installation went smoothly. The USB dongle was connected. I have not figured out how to get the HDMI out as it did not work out of the box for me. My Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse worked flawlessly. PD from the dongle works.

I just got mine today too and had a similar experience: keyboard and mouse working, HDMI monitor not.  I found on the pmOS Phosh wiki that issue #735 external HDMI is broken has been logged and is being looked into.  Aside from that, psyched to have a linux phone to play with.  Cheers.
Hoping this external HDMI issue is resolved soon.  Received the PMOS PP with Convergence and am enjoying playing with it today.  I like the minimalist build.  As reported by others most things just work out of the box including the USB-A ports of the USB-C hub altho no joy with the HDMI out or Ethernet.  Hats off to the PMOS Devs.
