Not much, it's not possible to workaround this in software. ANX firmware malfunctions if CC pins don't behave as expected, and there's no way to communicate with the dock to enable alt-dp mode. There's no manual override.

Yeah, that's a video I made, and the phone in it has the HW fix.

This suggests there's a software way to manually select PinePhone's data and power role:

If so... how would one go about doing it? I'm less concerned with external display (which would be nice, but oh well) than I am with being able to connect to my desktop via USB.
