Remix OS - Michaelrowe01 - 02-11-2017 Running the latest Remix OS, and it seems to periodically go to a black screen and not wake back up. Any suggestions on what I should look at? Any suggestions on what I should look at? I would look I to AYUFAN's Android 6.0 builds of you want a reliable build. RE: Remix OS - klode - 04-20-2017 hi, I'm working on Remix OS 2.0, release of April. I got some issue (laggy and much other) with a Sandisk microSD Class10. Now I'm waiting for my new Samsung Evo+ 32Gb. But two things: 1. Is the 20160718 the lastest release? 2. If I setup WiFi with fixed IP, does I can resolve some issues on Net? Thanks so much. RE: Remix OS - tllim - 07-17-2017 Sorry to inform that Jide decided to stop their development on consumer Remix OS. Here is the news: https://www.xda-developers.com/jide-pulling-the-plug-on-remix-os-as-it-focuses-on-enterprise-markets/ RE: Remix OS - fdeschape - 07-24-2017 will Jide stopping development on remix os be the death nail on the coffin of Pine 64? Remix os was the best (in my opinion) offering on the Pine 64. Pine 64 will now be another kickstarter that promised and died a slow death a la OUYA and PEBBLE. Remix os was the best (in my opinion) offering on the Pine 64. you hit the nail on the head .... i bought into the OUYA cool aid and got burned then i convinced myself that the pine64 is the bomb as it runs a full blown os no ways it could die... it's D.O.A..... everybody keeps saying the same old thing it a dev board why did you buy it...? but all the videos from this company where about running kodi and how well it works and then when the selling started the development stopped so again another stupid product on the market and another sucker out of pocket.... it may not be money to others but it's definitely not worth the hype from the developers..... Remix os was the best (in my opinion) offering on the Pine 64. I understand that its a development board but browsing through the forums show no activity. There is a promising project going on right now about putting retro arch on the board. That is keeping my hopes somewhat alive with this board. Other than that, what else is going on? Posts are few and far between. I truly want this board with a lot of promise to succeed. Every step forward is met with three steps backwards. I am rooting hardcore for Luke and Pfeerick to succeed. They seem adament about the project. Goodluck to them for putting all of us Pine64 owners on their shoulders. RE: Remix OS - KryPtAlIvIaN - 07-31-2017 Alot is activity happens in the IRC, you should check it out. I actually just turned my Pine into a VPN Server(will post my tutorial soon). I also plan to setup one with WebServer, and TVHeadend( basically your own HD Homerun). |
