RE: NetBSD binary pkgsrc-current for Pinebook - erchache2000 - 12-12-2018 Well, after using NetBSD on my pinebook I see it's very unusable for stable/standard purposes, so I decide to continue with manjaro arm instead NetBSD. If you want I can upload/send you my /usr/pkgsrc/packages/all. It's about 650 MB of data. Send me where and how to do that on a private message. Can you define what exactly is your "standard purposes" usage ![]() RE: NetBSD binary pkgsrc-current for Pinebook - erchache2000 - 12-17-2018 Create an usable system takes a lot of time to compile it... ;( RE: NetBSD binary pkgsrc-current for Pinebook - astr0baby - 12-17-2018 (12-17-2018, 03:41 AM)erchache2000 Wrote: Create an usable system takes a lot of time to compile it... ;(My Pinebook NetBSD aarch64 is working nonstop since about 17th November 2018 on NetBSD pkgsrc -current binary packages to make this task a little easier for others... what is amazing is that this machine needs little power, is quiet, does not heat-up .. just works. things just take time ... RE: NetBSD binary pkgsrc-current for Pinebook - astr0baby - 12-19-2018 Currently Im building QT5 NetBSD -current packages on the Pinebook ( it has been put to work non-stop for a month now) If you want to see some NetBSD related benchmarks with ffmpeg I have done please check it here https://astr0baby.wordpress.com/2018/12/09/pinebook-netbsd-arm64-current-multimedia-benchmark/ |
