Hey all,
Using the image here: http://wiki.pine64.org/index.php/Pine_A6....2C_Pine64

Works fine and all, but I don't need the GUI. How can I uninstall/remove the GUI OR just set it to boot directly to console?
sudo apt-get remove whatever-desktop-environment
reboot

sudo apt-get autoremove
sudo apt-get clean

Wink

Why do you install an image with GUI when you need no GUI?

Can you point me to an Ubuntu image on the Pine wiki that has no GUI? I'm looking at the wiki downloads page again, and they all have a GUI pre-installed and pre-setup to boot directly to GUI.
You find my images in the development forum. No idea about the wiki.

Found this thread, http://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=376, which lead me to this URL: https://www.stdin.xyz/downloads/people/l...es/ubuntu/

How do I identify which has GUI and which doesn't?

If you read the first post in this thread carefully, everything is noted there! There also is an Arch one, but if you like to stick with Ubuntu Xenial, just use the links you already found...
