Is it possible to install Linux to pinebook to LUKS-encrypted partition? Is there any generic instruction (that is suitable for all or most distros)?

No standard image for the Pinebook that I know of uses an encrypted partition.

You can use Anarsoul's Arch Linux image to boot from SD card and then install Arch Linux to the eMMC in a LUKS-encrypted partition. To make that work, you would actually basically simply follow the instruction from the Arch Linux Wiki for an encrypted Arch Linux installation and spice it up with the commands that Anarsoul uses for his own image to make everything work on the Pinebook.

It's not that complicated and doable (I did that today), but I have previous experience in installing Arch Linux to AMD64 systems in encrypted LVMs so your mileage may vary greatly.
