I think the image means it uses BSP + blobs
So kernel + blobs is OK, hope it's only that.
Yes here non-free means Mali blobs and kernel is BSP kernel. Not non-free in the sense of Microsoft Windows Wink
Loving this KDE user edition, thank you so much! I'm curious if you have any details on why HDMI doesn't work? Is this a fixable issue? Everything else has been great so far!

The problem is in how BSP works - once Neon switches over to mainline (hopefully soon), output via HDMI will no longer be an issue.
Mine is here, also. It's new 1080p edition, can we expect kernel 4.19 image?
I"ve install and upgrade, so everything works great, except hardware acceleration. So probably it should be fixed when NEON gets 4.19?

It seems VDPAU is ok, vdpauinfo says ok, but not in the browser.
Hello! I wonder whether it's normal that windows in KDE Neon are sometimes rendered with transparent 1-pixel thick horizontal line-holes.

One notable example is Konsole (which I use a lot), where newlines often result in transparent lines through the window. I assume this is a bug with partial window update (KWin?), because it seems that sometimes a full redraw happens and lines disappear.
Am I right that GPU on BSP kernel doesn't work, and there is no way to make it work?
