Please check connection again. I see GND connected to pin 18 and not pin 20 and other errors.
Do you have 4.2" or 4.2"b/c ?



I modified 4.2" (monochrome) python demo code. Do not press ctrl-c main.py should be done after 35 seconds.

I might/will have a couple of context-questions to grasp a few things and with your permission/help I'll write a doc how to use the eInk Displays in general in the following weeks.

Did you get to writing up a doc on eInk Displays and the Rock64 ??

Thanks to 's posts in this thread, I was able to get a waveshare 2.7" e-paper hat working on my Rock64 v2, Armbian.

However, as mentioned above, due to the Rock64 pin out, it does not seem readily possible to utilize the display as a 'hat', as intended... which is a shame.
