Hi all,
I install "Xenial Mate" to sdcard, but I have not see bootloader file on sdcard, why the pine a64 can boot? I have used other board, it always have "bootloader" partition. But I saw that the pine a64 have not it with SD card, the means there are "bootloader" code on board? have anyone know the boot process for pine a64? Thanks!
The firmware bits (boot0/spl, ATF, u-boot) are in front of your actual partitions. Depending on if you use BSP or mainline u-boot/linux the locations differ a little. As for how A64 boots, check linux-sunxi wiki... http://linux-sunxi.org/BROM#A64 , http://linux-sunxi.org/Pine64#Boot_sequence
