Anyone got GPIO binding working without running openHAB as root?
My hardware level tested and confirmed  working by running python scripts, but no luck getting it to work  under openHAB.

Hey! This is a common issue. I'd suggest to use the Exec Binding to execute your python scripts. You should check the openHAB community forum for numerous threads on how to do so Wink

Anybody had any luck getting GPIO to work?
I need pretty basic functionality: to control a relay connected to GPIO via switch item configured in openhab.
can you point to a good beginners tutorial.
which openhab binding would you recommend?
