Quote:Hello again Is it possible to have .zip file without .gz extension?? Cuz I've tried several times but never had a pass through blank screen but when I downloaded android 7 build from pine wiki page that file is .zip and runs like charms.

It will not help if it doesn't work for you.

Actually I'm new to these things so don't know what UART is? Is it some kind of cable? I'll google it and let you know.
UART is a proper name for 'serial', so what Ayufan is asking for you is for you to check / give the output that comes out of the serial console. To access this, grab yourself either this if you're in the US (as adafruit is worth supporting), or probably this if you're anywhere else (as shipping from the US is an arm and a leg). You plug three of the four wires into the pine64, plug it into a computer, and then with some software like Putty, you can see what the output messages are. Once you have the adaptor, someone can walk you through connecting it and setting it up.

Hello, I am a bit late to the party but love the work you are doing here.

Is this O/S capable of surround sound using my receiver? I currently have this installed and am using plex, I was/am hoping that surround sound is possible. I enabled pass through in plex but I believe I am only getting stereo sound as is the case in the other android (not TV os) builds.

methvenc: It's limited to what other builds do offer.
Finally got working Android 5.1 img
Kudos to ayufan for making this build and cheers pfeerick for helping out mate.
Happy days now
