every other day, Manjaro KDE plasma mobile's screen brightness gets stuck at a rather low level and the slider will flip back to it's before position. Is there any fix known?

Me too, curious about that, it keeps reverting to about 3. Sometimes, when I slide it to 7, it stays there for a while, but then (probably after a reboot, because I turn it off to get it to recharge faster) it goes back to 3.
No solution, just seconding your motion.
