Every time (during the last months) since kernel image 6.1 appeared when I try to update the system from Debian 11 to 12 (Mobian) I can't find wifi adapter and I have to go back to my backup version where everything works. How much time will it take additionally? What do I do wrong? Is there anyone having the same problem?

The firmware for the wifi card is now in non-free-firmware (it was in non-free before). Hence you need to append "non-free-firmware" to the lines reflecting bookworm in /etc/apt/sources.list
