While it's true that Debian Stable is often used on servers. But it also works fine on workstations/PCs. Or on mobile (mobian).
well technically, no, i'm not. i never said debian wasn't used for any of those devices 
just that i felt (100% my opinion) fedora was better geared towards workstations than debian.
I managed to get gnome working on my pinetab v using gentoo, with some pkgs specific to pinetab v from my overlay
