Maybe the new release of Tow-boot finally fixes the black screen issues on 2020 Pinebook Pros: https://github.com/Tow-Boot/Tow-Boot/rel...022.07-006

I read somewhere that upstream Uboot has this fixed and the rebased new version of tow-boot should have this now as well.

Edit: tested it and it seems to work with my early 2020 Pinebook Pro.
Quote:I hope this helps others.

It did, just tried it on my recent PBP. Boots the stock Manjaro flawlessly, except for a short graphical glitch before the Manjaro logo appears.

I had been having exactly the same issue so I used Tow-boot. It seems to run fine (other than occasionally ignoring all keyboard presses) and let me select SD to boot from. Problem is it then says that it can't boot from the SD. I've tried multiple cards, same issue. I guess either there legitimately is an issue with the cards or the images, but now I'm wondering if there is something else. I can use the SD card reader to access files on the card through Manjaro, so it doesn't seem to be a hardware issue. Other than trying new cards/images, are there any other suggestions?
