I work in an industrial setting, and I want my pinetime to last a while.
What screen protector fits?
What else do you recommend to prolong the lifespan of the device?
Still nothing?
I measured the flat part of the watch face to be 28×31mm, and including the curved edge this makes 31×34mm. I guess I'll have to buy a universal screen protector film and cut to fit.
I found these on ebay!. 6x Savvies Screen Protector for Pine64 PineTime Protection Film Ultra Clear. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/363475228176. I've no idea if they are any good but might give them a try...
PineTime is physically compatible with Fitbit Versa/Versa Lite covers and 42mm bands

The screen protectors arrived. They fitted well and feel nice on the fingers. I would have posted a photo, but you can't really see them.....

i ordered screen protectors for Fitbit Versa 1: 1 glass, and 1 full watch face cover...
and, those are not really fits perfect.
it appears, that Fitbit Versa 1 has a square watch face, but PineTime has different width (about 2mm shorter) and height (about 2-3mm longer)...

so, it's not perfect...

however a silicon cover for Fitbit Versa 2 holds the DevKit into 1 peace really nice, so no more rubber bands Smile

A lot of companies make covers for the Fitbit Versa 2.  Which one did you use to hold the devkit front and back together?

i assume, it's the most generic chinese no-name...

you can find an example here (pl->en)

or here: https://www.tvc-mall.com/details/flexibl...1653f.html

and regarding the DevKit, it is worth to mention,
that while it holds in one piece,
the dev kit can not be charged, as the TPU cover prevents contact between the charger pins and the watch.
