I downloaded the Phosh 16 Beta yesterday and played around with it for a bit then when I went to boot it up this morning it would vibrate, show the notification light turn on then go black. I left it for about 10 minutes to see if maybe it was booting up but the screen was just dim and nothing happened. I tried booting into it 4-5 times with the same result. Anyone else experiencing this?

sounds very similiar what i had with pre-installed k plasma.

my guess is something installed updates on a background and it got messed up, maybe package "linux-pinephone" or "linux-firmware" or else.

take a look at this https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=14978 . i re-installed "linux-pinephone" and manage to get back (though removed it for beta phosh later).

I had same issue with pacman -Syu update yesterday. After extensive installs by pacmen, system was reporting that 1 files did not download properly. Did not write down name. I went to try pacman again and it wouldn't run pacman. Then it unbooted. Upon rebooting got no login after many tries.

Had to do new install with download of latest revision. After install, pacman -Syu reinstalled 400+ files. But all looks to be working now.

I think I will offload my telephone contacts before each pacman update as I never know when a reinstall might be needed.
