Hi

Recently I attempted a PinePhone screen repair and when I tried to power the phone on again the screen worked but the phone was constantly vibrating and wouldn't take charge, any ideas as to what the problem could be?

Thanks

What would the solution to that be? Do I have to replace any parts?

How would I identify that sorry?

Please check the attached photo location for constant vibration. For no charge, possible the flex cable between USB-C side (daughter) board and mainboard doesn't snap in properly

I know this post is pretty old but figured this was worth sharing in case other people run into a similar problem.

When I first got my Pinephone Pro I didn't read the manual and plugged it in, and it just vibrated endlessly, only then did I read the manual and read the part about disconnecting the tape from the battery that blocked the contacts. So it seems that happens whenever there's no connection to the battery, maybe something got broken s.t. the battery got severed
