No sound for me either. I'm hoping the next kernel update fixes it.

I imaged a new OS to SD card and the sound works, but it's very soft, too.
I'm trying to flash but when I boot I just get either a red light and no display or a Pine64 logo and it stays there (depending on if I hit power or plug in USB).
Does anyone else see this power-on issue? How long is initial boot?
Regarding the volume being too low, it could be related to

I would try using Etcher for the image.
Also after an update, the OS no longer can connect to the cell system of my provider. I know it is not hardware issue, as booting up Manjaro now connectsa to the provider. For a long time, I had an issue with manjaro connecting for a few seconds, then forever disconnecting.
