Hi,

So I received today my Pinephone64 Manjaro edition. I made the first setup, everything seems fine but few second later I'm log out (screen lock) from this point every time I unlock the phone, I have only few seconds before it automatically lock again.
More concerning : instead of a log off I often get a crash screen. This one :

Sometimes it is just a blackscreen.
By using virtual consoles (ctrl + alt + f1) I have been able to force an update with pacman (-Syyu) also I never get any trouble from those consoles, I suspect the problem to be in the desktop environment (if I can call it that way Undecided )

Maybe force reinstall the GUI could do the trick ?

I'd like to fix it without having to reinstall the OS, I do not have a SD card, unless there is a way to reinstall to eMMC from my desktop ?

However, where can I find the log file ?

Thank for your help
That release of Manjaro is very unreliable and I had predicted troubles as you have to endure now.
I suggest NOT to flash the emmc but to buy a micro SDHC card for a few $ and to reflash emmc only when you have found a satisfactory software system.
(IMHO currently there is none at all)

Do you think a future update of the OS could fix my problems ?

Some day in unknown future the software will be acceptable.

If you enjoy playing around, buy a few sdhc cards and put various images to see the differences.

If you don't enjoy that - just wait ....
