Well known issue N° 6: http://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=514

Funny that such an essential information is NOT LISTED at the download site where you got the OS images, isn't it? Writing something into this forum is like writing directly into a trash can.

Ok. I will disconnect Ethernet on the first boot... But connecting HDMI to TV should not create a problem. Correct?

Correct
Thank you very much. Once I removed the Ethernet for the first boot, Android loaded perfectly.

I'm having the same issue. Using a power supply from a pi kit, a known good 8gb SanDisk sdhc card and an hdmi cable, I can't get past the initial boot screen. I'm using the latest android distribution burnt with phoenix. None of the previous versions have worked either. Using a windows 10 laptop with internal reader. Program won't work in compatibility mode, causes a runtime failure.

I just posted new Android DD image build for user who prefer not using PhoenixCard, please check out. For PhoenixCard user, please always to set "startup" on write mode option, and allow the build to have amper time when boot up due to the initialization process involve a lot of job and sometimes can stuck at home screen for 15 minutes.

The 5/05 build fired right up. Love the new splash screen, very clean. Thank you!
