Hi , my pinephone pro has the SIM sock broken . Can I still get a gps position from Manjaro plasma in my SD card?

I don't understand the question Smile

FYI, I flashed Manjaro Phosh (daily build) to my PinePhone Pro eMMC because I wanted to play with the keyboard, and to my surprise and delite, GPS works great.

GPS works independently of having a SIM card inserted or not, so yes. Make sure the phone has a GPS fix, though -> https://wiki.pine64.org/wiki/PinePhone#GPS_/_GNSS

That's true at the hardware level, but not if you're using ModemManager as most distros do. The ModemManager interface will only allow GPS to be enabled if there's a SIM present. You need to stop ModemManager then use something else to enable the GPS - I used picocom to send AT commands.
