HDMI frequency
#1
Hi! I've tried Remix OS, Android and Ubuntu on my Pine 1GB.  Every OS has only one trouble: display settings. I've tested 2 TVs. 1st one (Samsung) got error in every case (unavaliable mode), 2nd one (NONAME) shows every OS, but the resolution is very hi for it and picture is not very good.

Samsung have supported every mode before it, and I was looking for a reason. I've conected my nootebook and started to try every mode. Resolution doesn't depends on it, TV keeps every resolution good. Problem was in frequency rate, in low resolutions high frequency rate was good, but for high resolutions max frequency is 30. If set frequency >30, TV sets off and shows message: Unavaliable mode.

Sorry for my english.

Is it possible to solve this problem? How can I change resolution or frequency of HDMI on PINE?

I think I understand your problem: the refresh rate (hertz) is set too high for your Samsung monitor.
I have no idea how to change it, unfortunately.

But I did find two posts that might be of some help.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/remix/re...x-t3306733

So try the first one, and if it doesnt work, then you'll probably have to mess around with some boot settings.

It seems to me that you at least can change the resolution this way, but it might not solve your refreshrate problem that your monitor apparently doesnt support.
Can you give me the model name of your screen?

Edit:

These people seem to have the same problem:

Thank you for your reply)) I've tried first way, but it doesn't help. The second one -  I'm not sure that it is avaliable on Pine cause there is no way to edit Grub (or anybody knows how?). I think I have only one way - to wait of new software for Pine(((
