Folks have created a list of open-source game engines. Most, if not all, of them should be able to be compiled and played on PBR

Also worth mentioning is the list of Game Engine Recreations here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ga...ecreations

Thanks a lot for your contribution, I did not know how to build stuff before (never had the need for it tho), so I learned something and that's also why I bought the PBP for.
Also, I don't know how one does contribute to the AUR for Manjaro ARM but I think it could be cool to have those setup available as scripts in it for an easy setup...

I'll be awaiting part 2

Btw, I tried installing RVGL with the script provided on their website and it seems to work properly except that it doesn't provide any binary to then play the game, so I get all the files except the binary... Has anyone else given it a try? (here's the website url : https://rvgl.re-volt.io/)

PS : the Virtualization guide is also quite nice to have, I wanted to try out Windows 10 to test the limits of the x86 emulation and maybe play Worms Armageddon  Cool

Age of Empires II HD works on the Pinebook  Smile

openage: a volunteer project to create a free engine clone of the Genie Engine used by Age of Empires, Age of Empires II (HD) and Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, comparable to projects like OpenMW, OpenRA, OpenSAGE, OpenTTD and OpenRCT2. At the moment we focus our efforts on the integration of Age of Empires II, while being primarily aimed at POSIX platforms such as GNU/Linux.

openage uses the original game assets (such as sounds and graphics), but (for obvious reasons) doesn't ship them. To play, you require an original AoE II: TC or AoE II: HD installation (via Wine or Steam-Linux).

Native build of OpenAge on Manjaro aarch64

through the Openage

I will include the howto in part2 on my blog later this week

I had that problem. The default full screen resolution is something the PBP screen can't display. Find the config file and change it to something like 1920x1080.

Yeah, was the same issue with DOSBox too, set the full screen res and enabled the setting for screen scaling, boom!
