Best configuration for Samsung NVMe
#1
I bought a Samsung nvme 970 EVO for the PCIe slot. I tried to find how to format the nvme unit but I have no clear. Could you help me in formatting and configuration? (currently I have put with bionic-containers, with Lxde the system does not work properly)

Did you get sorted?

If notyou probably want to follow Bullet64 instructions on the second page of this thread.

Which sorts the partitioning (none) and formatting (same as your current boot disk) and sets it up as the root partition.
 • ROCKPro64 v2.1 2GB, 16Gb eMMC for rootfs, SX8200Pro 512GB NVMe for /home, HDMI video & sound, Bluetooth keyboard & mouse. Arch (6.2 kernel, Openbox desktop) for general purpose daily PC.
 • PinePhone Pro Explorer Edition, daily driver, rk2aw & U-boot on SPI, Arch/SXMO & Arch/phosh on eMMC
 • PinePhone BraveHeart now v1.2b 3/32Gb, Tow-boot with Arch/SXMO on eMMC
