Thats why i again humbly request for such newer driver to be added to the next release, pretty please with a cherry on top? Pleeeeeease?

For your reference this image of armbian includes a driver that works OOTB no extra steps at all to setup, im not a dev or expert at all so i dont know what version do they use or where do they get it from but probably they get it from some stable and known repo as the armbian people are kinda strict with what they add to their images...

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

I suggest you make a feature request on our official Forum.
My builds will be discontinued. All my work has been incorporated into official LibreELEC. They will start official alpha builds soon. Please upgrade to official on the next occasion.
So my and kwiboo's builds will become official soon. The next build will be LE9 alpha.

Exelent, congratulations (i guess), im going to wait it to be oficially released then and test my card again but where should i download it from? oficial download page? or some specific thread on their forum? also, just a suggestion, maybe you should add this information about the hand over to the LE team on the original post of this thread, for future reference, imho...

Thanks in advance for all your work Big Grin

I'm an official LibreELEC developer. I will try to remember your issue. The Rock64 will become an officially supported Device afaik so you will be able to download it from the official download page.
This is just an FYI call about my personal community builds being transfered into official. Everyone can still write issues in this thread and I will try to give best support. The big advantage of becoming official is that you have several developers and supporters and not just me. So in a way this is good news not bad Smile
