Around the time that we decided on the heatsink selection, there is one new nano technology that present to us and able to transfer heat to infra red that currently use in tablet and handphone.  Frankly speaking, initially I quite skeptical but the test result seems good. I currently send out this thermal dissipation pads to several moderators to try out.

Hi all,

Is there any update on heatsink selection? I am about to build a pine64 cluster for some machine learning experiments and will definitely need full performance Smile

Thanks!

Its been a while since I heard anything here. Any heatsinks that we can procure to use on the Pine A64?
I had a look at Bang Good and found they have variety available.
I also came across this Ceramic heat sink measurement
Alternatively aluminium casing that look cool & keep hardware cool.
What do y'all think?

Like to get some feedback.

Thanks.  Smile

Oh my... forget the heatsinks... those aluminium cases are a thing of beauty! Not only are they a work of art... but you won't need any extra heatsinks with those puppies! Big Grin

That aluminium case is pretty darn sweet ... vinodmenon80, has it been designed by you ?
You can find me on IRC, Discord and Twitter

I'd wish it was something I designed....

Nope don't have the ability to do that...Haven't worked on machining before...

But it definitely made me want to get one despite the price.
